Chamonix is situated at the foot of Mont Blanc, and is competing for the title of the most famous ski resort in the world. The first winter Olympics were held here way back in 1924.
The slope with the highest altitude difference (2807m) is located here and can be reached by a ski lift. The longest slope, La Flegere, is also the most difficult and is 7.5 kilometers long.
This ski resort has 170km of ski slopes; 14 difficult, approximately 50 intermediate and 12 easy. There are 47 drag lifts that take skiers to the slopes and can take more than 50,000 skiers per hour.
Chamonix is perfect for snowboarding since the resort is equipped with a snowpark and a
halfpipe.

Les Deux Alpes offers skiers more than 200 km of ski slopes with 60 drag lifts. The flow of skiers is approximately 66,000 per hour. There are 102 ski slopes at this resort (27 green, 45 blue, 17 red and 13 black). The longest slope is a downhill descent from Mount Pic de la Grave to the valley, while the most difficult slope is Grand Couloir N.36, 1.5 km long and an altitude difference of 400 m.
The largest glacier in Europe, more than 200 hectares can be found here and can be skied on during the summer as well. Night skiing is available on the 700 m long slope Les Lutins.
For snowboarders there is a snowpark at an altitude of 2600m (Axe pipe, Slopestyle, Halfpipe...).

Val d'Isere and Tignes share more than 300 km of this well-known French ski resort. The 1992 Winter Olympics were held here and every December it is host to World Cup races in skiing. The ski resort was named after one of the most famous French skiers Jean - Claude Killy.
This ski resort has 20 green, 60 blue, 35 red and 16 black slopes and is suitable for both beginners and professional skiers. Skiers are taken to the resort by 90 drag lifts so lineups are rare. Night skiing is also available.
Espace Killy did not forget about snowboarders, which is why there are two snowparks that offer a variety of activities for "boarders" (Quarterpipe, Halfpipe, Tables, Slides, Jumps).
